Each year we ask for donations for Peace for Paws Ohio. Thanks to everyone that donated last year, as we were able to raise over $5000!

Helping homeless pets in Ohio, four paws at a time

Peace for Paws Ohio is a non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, organized to assist with the homeless pet overpopulation in Ohio. Their mission is to provide education and financial support for spay and neuter efforts, to foster and adopt dogs from high-kill shelters, to provide resources to shelters and humane societies that care for animals from large-scale rescues, to support Ohio legislation for companion animal protection, and to provide temporary pet food assistance for families going through financial hardship. Peace for Paws Ohio is an all volunteer organization. They operate by a very dedicated group of volunteers and network of foster homes.

This is Brutus, who lives in LDP and was rescued from Peace for Paws. You may see him out and about as you look at the lights!

This cause is near and dear to us as Dr. Kris’ home (she’s the medical director for Peace for Paws) is part of the show, and others in the show/neighborhood have rescued or fostered pets from Peace for Paws.

We have a donation box located at the entrance to the show. For more information, visit their website at
